so, i made an appointment with a professional to get my hair did and to get it did right. back to brown. hopefully. :)
sunday was a beautiful sabbath day. stephanie (bff roommate) taught a wonderful lesson in r.s. about the family and how we need to be preparing ourselves spiritually for that now. this stage of life is interesting and it's really all about being patient BUT persistent. amen. i taught in sunday school. i love my calling. the lesson was about the sermon on the mount. bah ha. ironic, right? it wasn't until my mission that i really realized how funny my last name is. people had some good laughs when i introduced myself as "sister sermon". i remember one man form nigeria asking me to prove that my last name was really sermon. i pulled out my driver's license and showed him...but he still didn't believe me. how funny.
anywho, the lesson went well. one thing that i really do love about this BYU 2,4385,1st ward is that everyone comments. it's great! that's what brings the spirit and i am so grateful for that.
i took my two roommates to dinner at my parent's house for sunday din din. melinda and steph. we had a delightful dinner and my grandparents came as well. i asked my gramps to tell the story about him eating "chocolate covered raisins". ha. this one's a goodie.
so, i used to have a rabbit (rip) and i would let it hop around in the garage, for exercise. well, this particular day we were headed up to my aunt julie's for a bbq and my mom had a sack of pop sitting on floor...in the garage....with the rabbit. so, we take the pop up to my aunt's and i set it on the table in her kitchen. then my gramps comes in and opens the sack of pop and sees what he thought was a yummy little snack. "oh, chocolate covered raisins!" i was confused. "why are there chocolate covered raisins in that sack?'' question mark. i soon made the connection. sack of pop, on the ground, in the garage...rabbit hopping around. the next thing i hear is "you little s***!" haha. gramps had eaten rabbit poop. poop in his mouth. poop from a rabbit. he thought i did this on purpose because i was laughing so hard. i did not intend for this to happen but it has been a good laugh ever since. i don't think my gramps has ever eaten raisins, chocolate covered or plain, ever since.
told you it was a goodie.
so, couple things to learn today. don't dye your own hair and don't eat poop. the end.
random pics ahead. i like stuff.
oh, so we (melinda, steph, possibly molly or sister felten) will be moving to a house in the fall! it's in the same ward boundaries but just something different. the place i'm at now is super nice but the price is a little high for me and i just think it'll be nice to have a change. still in the heart of provo but it'll be nice nonetheless. it's a super cute place and i'm really excited for it. the best part is that it's a lot cheaper! yes.
my drugs class awaits. ttfn.

BYU 2,4385,1st ward forever. amen and amen. and bffffffff forever and ever. amen and amen. thanks for being my sermon on the mount. you are my sunshine, my only sunshine. cuter than a cupcake. the end.
