cash, johnny

today i had a pretty open day. it was actually really nice. i tended to the garden, cleaned up the yard a bit, went to some places with my ma, started preparing for this sunday's lesson, and...recorded some tunes. i feel a bit silly for posting this. it's just for fun. :) R.I.P. johnny cash. 

stop judging me.

so, life is good. this weekend was a delight. my best friend from high school, mallory pants, came down from "blowgan" (logan) for a visit and i was graced with her presence for a bit. we went to cheer on imagine dragons. they auditioned for the stadium of fire (it's a provo thang). they were over ruled by an 11 year old girl and some other bands. you win some and you lose some i suppose. whatever stadium of fire. 

so, time is always well spent with mallory. she is a jem and a dear friend. we laugh a lot and it's happy. we did some pretty durn embarrassing things in our high school days but we had f.u.n. i am grateful for the friendships that i have. i know that my friends have played a large role in my life and i am where i am today because of them. muchas gracias. grateful indeed. 

speaking of awesome people. noah and the whale. well, they are coming to utah. this is possibly the best thing ever. if you don't know them, or at least their music, you oughta check these fellas out. they're just really good at what they do. sometimes the singer sounds like he can't say his r's but i will listen to him anyway. 

oh, check out this skirt i made. the best part is that it's a pillowcase. yup, a pillowcase. there was no sewing involved at all. it actually looks really cute and not pillowcase-ish at all.
